Deaf with Additional Disabilities

Deafness with additional disabilities (AD+) is a term used to describe individuals who have hearing loss and one or more other disabilities. This could include anything from vision loss physical disabilities and cognitive disabilities. Other terms for this population include “deaf plus” and “deaf with disabilities (DWD)
